Tassel Castle Maine Coons has a deep appreciation for this magnificent new color mutation. Our cattery not only provides customers with precious Maine Coon kittens but also offers this new color that has emerged in the breed.
In the Maine Coons, this originated in Russia with Breeder Natalya Kuryanova of Cattery Iz Doma Yahontoff. We have been privileged to acquire Phoenix from her for our own breeding program. At the time of this writing in 2024 there are still fewer than 100 Maine Coon with the Phoenix color registered worldwide.

We have produced a line of Phoenix with Polydactyl and Dominant Blue Eyes, but we are also keeping a line of Standard Phoenix without either the Polydactyl or DBE background for those who do not want those features.
